Jordan Ricks

Jordan Ricks is an accomplished teacher, composer, pianist, conductor, and church musician based in the Dallas-Fort Worth area with his wife Rebecca, their three children, and two dogs. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Sacred Music from Northwestern State University, a Master of Music in composition from Sam Houston State University, and holds Principal Certification from Lamar University. As a sought-after clinician and adjudicator throughout Texas, his choirs consistently achieve superior ratings at contests. Recently honored as Exemplar Educator of the Year, he teaches middle school choir in the Northwest Independent School District and serves as the Director of Music Ministries at First United Methodist Church in Colleyville, TX, where his original compositions enhance worship services.
