Robin McLaughlin Conine

Composer Robin McLaughlin Conine (b. 1994) has had work performed throughout the United States and Canada, and has been recognized by ASCAP and the American Composers Forum. The Classical Voice of North Carolina writes that her music is "sure to delight the most discerning of listeners." She teaches K-12 General Music, Choir, and Contemporary Music at The Covenant School in Greensboro, North Carolina, and is an enthusiastic creator of choral and musical theatre works for young voices.

Robin frequently composes sacred works for use in liturgical settings, such as the album-length works God With Us and Incarnate. Robin's pierrot-plus work Falling Up won the 2023 Sacramento State Festival of New American Music Call for Scores, and she has held residencies at Arts Letters and Numbers and the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts, and has been a fellow at the Norfolk New Music Workshop and the University of Nebraska Lincoln Chamber Music Institute. In 2023, she was a participant in the Lehigh University Choral Composers Forum studying with Ēriks Ešenvalds.
