Steven Strite

Steven Strite (b. 1979) began playing the piano at age 6. Throughout elementary school, he showed an interest in sacred music and began his first church music position at age 14. Steven studied music at Oakland University where he received a Bachelor of Music degree in organ performance. He went on to study with Marilyn Mason at the University of Michigan and received a Master of Music degree in sacred music.

Steven has served a few Presbyterian/Reformed churches throughout Michigan and Florida in various positions. He is currently on staff at Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church in Fort Lauderdale, Florida where he serves as Senior Organist. Steven has been a clinician for several conferences on music and worship in South Florida. He also composes sacred choral anthems with Hope Publishing, Lorenz and Beckenhorst Press.
